Abstract

The genus Baculofractum Zompro, 1995, was based on a single species, Carausius insignis Brunner, 1907, from Sumatra. A new species is described from Borneo. The new species is one of the longest members of the Necrosciinae and is based on six specimens, including both sexes and eggs, which have been collected over a period of m ore than 100 years.
