| Abstract | A new subgenus Orthomeria (Parorthomeria) is established with Orthomeria (Parorthomeria) alexis (Westwood, 1859) as the type species. Orthomeria (Parorthomeria) turneri n.sp. is described from a male and female collected at Danum Valley, Sabah, one specimen from the Baram river region of Sarawak, and from two specimens previously recorded by the author as variations of O. alexis. The new species is closely related to alexis. |
