Hi, I'm new to keeping phasmids.

I bought a mature male Macleay's Spectre at least two months ago. He has just died.

Well, he has been dying for the last week. Is this long protracted death normal?

We were kind of thinking he couldn't have much time left, but didn't expect it to take so long!

He completely lost his ability to be upright and thrashed around when we tried to turn him upright.

We've been feeding him and his mate on bramble which we know will be pesticide free,

although it sounds like the descriptions I've read of poisoned stickies.

His widdow seems to be fine.

what does anyone reckon?
