Phasmid Study Group Newsletter: Submitting Articles

There are no strict rules for submitting articles to the newsletter, however the following points may help potential authors: 

  • Articles are mainly written by members, however articles by non-members are accepted.
  • All articles should relate in some way to phasmids, or the Phasmid Study Group.
  • Articles range in length up to around two pages, one line articles (such as 'species X feeds on Hypericum') are welcome.
  • Longer articles and scientific (especially taxonomic) papers may be more suited to the group's journal, Phasmid Studies.

Formatting Articles

  • Articles are prefered in digital form, either as Microsoft Word or ASCII files (hand-written articles are accepted but may take longer to process)
  • Images should be sent as separate files (i.e. not embedded in a Word document)
  • Captions for images can be sent separately or included at the end of the main article

Submitting Articles

  • It is preferred that articles are submitted using the online submission service. You will need to be a registered member of the site. To register Ed Baker in the first instance to obtain the relevant e-mail or postal address. Members can submit articles at any time.

New Authors

  • If you have not written anything before then the Editor is willing to help you with your first articles.
